Usher has just released a formal apology to “anyone he may have offended.”

His very public apology is addressing the comment he made critisizing Chris Brown for the photos released of him enjoying himself on a jet skii only days after the pre-grammy Rihanna beating incident. In his original statement which appeared in a Jermaine Dupri video, Usher said he was “disappointed in Chris” and thought he should have “Showed more remorse.”

This apology was recently released by Usher’s publicist:

“The comments made during a recent recording session amongst friends were taken out of context and blown out of proportion,” the statement reads. “I apologize on behalf of myself and my friends if anyone was offended. The intentions were not to pass judgment and we meant no harm. I respect and wish the best for all parties involved.”

We think Usher needs to Man Up to his actions, just like Chris needs to man up to his!
